Hi-BITS Gathers in Brussels for Mid-Term Review Meeting

On 5 June 2025, the Hi-BITS consortium gathered in Brussels for the project’s Mid-Term Review Meeting with the European Commission. The meeting brought together the Work Package leaders for a comprehensive assessment of the progress achieved during the first 18 months of implementation, serving as a key checkpoint to ensure the effective advancement of the project.

Work Package leaders presented achievements and milestones, covering topics ranging from advanced solar cell architectures and upscaling strategies to sustainability assessment and stakeholder engagement. The session concluded with constructive feedback from the Project Officer, reaffirming the project's alignment with its objectives and strategic direction.

This meeting marks a significant milestone as Hi-BITS continues to advance its mission to develop high-efficiency bifacial thin-film chalcogenide solar cells for a sustainable and competitive European photovoltaic industry.
